By default the remote site (or local site map) appears in the left pane and the local site appears in the right pane. You can switch these displays.
To determine in which panes the local and remote sites appear:
| 1 | Choose Edit > Preferences to open the Preferences dialog box and select the Site FTP category. |
| 2 | Do either of the following: |

Select Local Files from the Show Always menu, and then choose whether to display the local files in the right or left pane of the Site window. |
| The local site appears in the pane you have selected, and the remote site (or the site map) appears in the opposite pane. | |

Select Remote Files from the Show Always menu, and then choose whether to display the remote files in the right or left pane of the Site window. |
| The remote site appears in the pane you have selected, and the local site (or the site map) appears in the opposite pane. | |

To change the view area:

Drag the splitter bar to increase the view area of the right or left window pane. |
|
Use the scroll bars at the bottom of the panes to scroll the contents of the panes. |
|
In the site map, click and drag the arrow above a file to change the column width. |
