Detaching a document from a template

To make changes to both the locked and editable regions of a page that uses a template, you must first detach the page from the template. Once detached, you can edit the page as if no template was applied. However, the page will no longer be updated when the template is updated.

To detach a document from a template:

	Choose Modify > Templates > Detach From TemplateName.dwt.
	The page is detached from the template and all regions become editable.
