Use the Page Properties dialog box to define an image or color for the page background. If you use both an image and a background color, the color appears while the image downloads. If the background image has transparent pixels, the background color will show through.
To define a background image or color:
| 1 | Choose Modify > Page Properties, or select Page Properties from the shortcut menu. |
| 2 | Enter the path to the background image in the Background Image box, or click the folder icon to browse to and select the image. |
| Dreamweaver tiles (repeats) the background image if it does not fill the entire browser window. | |
| 3 | Choose a background color from the Background color box. |
