The completed Olivebranch home page includes a section on weekly specials in which various sale items gradually fade in and out on the right side of the page.
The "specials" section actually contains two layers: the first contains the static this week's specials image, and the second (which overlaps the first) contains a Flash movie in which sale items fade in and out. So far, your version of the home page includes only the layer with the static image; here, you'll add the Flash movie in a layer on top of the image layer to recreate the "specials" section as it appears on the completed home page.
Because the Flash movie will be in a layer that sits directly on top of the this week's special image layer, you must turn off the Prevent Layer Overlaps option.
To allow layers to overlap:
1 | Choose Window > Layers to reopen the Layer palette. |
2 | Deselect the Prevent Overlaps option. |

Now you'll need to create a new layer to contain the Flash movie.
To add a new layer containing a Flash movie:
1 | Choose Insert > Layer. |
2 | Single-click to put the cursor inside the new layer. |
3 | Choose Insert > Flash and select home_ticker.swf in the Assets folder. |
The layer expands to the size of the Flash movie, which is represented by a gray rectangle.

Next, play the Flash movie in the Document window and align it over the this week's specials layer.
To play the Flash movie inside the Document window:

To align the Flash movie layer over the this week's specials layer:
1 | Click the layer's border to select the entire layer and drag it by its handle until it aligns over the this week's specials layer. |
The Flash movie contains blocks of color and a horizontal line that match the static this week's special graphic. Use these to guide you as you place the Flash movie layer on top of the image layer.
Note: The Flash movie may not look the same on all monitor resolutions. If the Flash movie layer doesn't appear to align over the this week's specials layer, choose Window > Properties to open the Property inspector and reset the dimensions of the Flash movie to W 329, H 94.
The two layers on top of each other should look like this:
