Story Synopsis
Three timepaths are introduced. It is up to you to weave them together to discover the main threads of the story. One timepath begins in the year 999, where two brothers are locked in battle: Nathaniel Ravenshim, lord of Ravenshim Castle, and his brother Caine, a master of the dark arts of alchemy. Nathaniel suspects Caine of killing their younger brother Leland, but Caine is hiding an even darker secret.

A second timepath takes you to the summer of 1900, where archeologist James Francis Ravenshim has begun excavating these same chambers under the ruins of Ravenshim Castle. He finds them filled with old journals, illuminated manuscripts, and other objects impossible to decipher or explain. The most puzzling chamber of all is hidden behind a locked bronze door.

The third timepath is set in the autumn of 1999. As the Millennium approaches, American computer security expert John Shoresby -- the last of the Ravenshim line -- has mysteriously disappeared. You must join the other members of his team at SciCrypt Systems in an attempt to sift through the files he's left behind to find where he's gone.

Follow in his footsteps as he finds himself trapped in an ancient murder mystery. Who is the haunting young woman whose destiny is to unite them all, and why is she terrified as the clock ticks down to the last days of the Millennium? The answers lie waiting to be discovered, as you unlock "The Cypher."
