Using the Response Bot
The Response Bot (located on the home window) allows you to type
in questions concerning the creation of web pages, and it will respond
by locating keywords and phrases. Sometimes it cannot find your answer. Don't worry, you didn't do something wrong. I'll add more keywords
and phrases in a future version. Anyway, this isn't a normal
search. It's just like Ask Jeeves, just for web pages. Just
type in a question as you would speak it, and it will try to find the answer. It will respond very fast.
Learning to Make Web Pages
You can use the menu bar "Tutorials" to navigate the tutorials or use the
buttons on the home window. The home window buttons include these:
[Back one Tutorial] [Forward One Tutorial] [Go To First Tutorial]
This program is not biased towards graphical HTML editors or towards
code editors. It includes links to graphical editors, and includes
a code editor.
But it focuses the tutorials on HTML basics and specialized things
to do with code, like insert chat rooms, that would require code editing.
Using the Bookmarks
To use the bookmarks, click on the link you want to visit under "Bookmarks"
and your browser will automatically start and take you to that site.
Taking a Quiz
To take a quiz, you can click on the green question mark button in the
main window, or choose "File>>New Quiz" You can choose 10, 20, 30,
or 40 questions. The quiz is always random. You can also choose
to correct as you go, and/or speak questions. You can quit
the quiz at any time, and go back or forward. At the end it will
tell you what your score was.
Using FTP
The FTP is pretty straight forward. Just enter the info that is required.
