Step 1
Use our own search engine to see if the information you want is on our site. Simply fill out the form with a word or phrase and press Start Search. See How to use our search engine for more tips.

Search for:

Step 2
Still can't find what you want? Well, if a search site can't find it on the Net, nothing can!

AltaVista

Just type in your query, hit Enter and this super-quick search engine will do the rest.

Other search engines

AltaVista is our pick of the search sites, but if doesn't do the job, there are plenty of others.

How to use our search engine

Simply fill out the form above to search for documents on our web site containing specific words or combinations of words. The search engine will display a weighted list of matching documents, with better matches shown first. Each list item is a link to a matching document; if the document has a title it will be shown, otherwise only the document's file name is displayed.

Query language: The search engine also allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

information retrieval
finds documents containing 'information' or 'retrieval'

information or retrieval
same as above

information and retrieval
finds documents containing both 'information' and 'retrieval'

information not retrieval
finds documents containing 'information' but not 'retrieval'

(information not retrieval) and WAIS
finds documents containing 'WAIS', plus 'information' but not 'retrieval'

web*
finds documents containing words starting with 'web'
