Names in Corel Quattro Pro 7
You can name cells and ranges of cells in Quattro Pro 7 by highlighting the cells to be named and then selecting Insert, Block Names and typing a name for the range in the Name text box.
Like Excel and Lotus you can access the name list by pressing the F3 key and use these names in your formulae. Like Lotus, in the type of worksheet shown in Figure 1c, you'll need to use absolute range names in your formulae or they won't copy correctly. So, in the Lotus 1-2-3 equivalent of Figure 1c, cell C7 should be written as =$Markup*B7.
The F5 (Goto) key works similarly in Quattro Pro as it does in Lotus 1-2-3 and there is a navigator at the top-left of the screen which contains a list of names that you can paste into formulae or use as the target of a Goto command.
To create a list of names and cells that they refer to, move to a blank area of your worksheet and select Insert, Block Names and select Output and click OK and Close.
