Setting treatment options

You can specify whether Zone Labs security software will automatically treat files when it detects an infection, or if you want to be alerted each time an infection is found. By default, Zone Labs security software will automatically attempt to treat files that contain viruses, without requiring a response from you. If a file cannot be repaired, you will be alerted so that you can take the appropriate action.

To enable or disable automatic treatment:

Select Antivirus|Main.


In the Protection area, click Antivirus Options.


Select Virus Treatment, then select the Enable automatic virus treatment check box.


Click OK.
"Rename" is not an available treatment option when automatic treatment is enabled. Automatic treatment will attempt to either repair or delete infected files.
