#3: Installing the Project

Now that we have finished designing the project, it must be installed on Pocket PC, before it can be used.

1. Connect your Pocket PC to your desktop PC, following the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
2. Verify that the device has been recognised by your desktop PC. If necessary, locate the Microsoft ActiveSync program on the start menu and follow its procedures for connecting the Pocket PC.
3. Double click the Install icon in the project window.

Pocket PC Creations will attempt to install your project on the Pocket PC.

If you have any problems at this point, it is likely that there is a problem with the communications between your desktop PC and your Pocket PC. Troubleshooting help is available in Microsoft ActiveSync.
