Boolean Points

The Boolean Point is a useful facility for quick recording, providing a flexible choice of data recording, either text or numeric. Boolean points prompt the user for a single tick, cross or not-applicable response.

While the default choices in the design drop down lists are Yes/No, True/False, Safe/Unsafe, 1/0/99 and either NA or N/A, amend for other outputs of up to six characters. Numbers can be used for scoring, and used as Math point targets. The 1, 0, 99 style is useful for collection of observations which may then be subject to statistical analysis.

On-screen, Boolean points appear as a caption followed by up to three possible boxes, one with a green tick and the other with a red cross, and if included, a third "0" box which represents a not-applicable state. Four states are possible: undecided, ticked, crossed or not applicable.
