Katanning Internet Services KIS started out as a community managed non profit resource for Katanning and surrounding regional areas. We quickly grew and have recently upgraded equipment and provider to bring ourselves into line with other professional ISP's. We determined that our people wanted more than we had originally planned for and as such we have now reached the point of being able to offer the latest in Internet advancements. We have however, been unable to attract the appropriate level of technical user support locally so have set up for our subscribers a contract with a company in Perth to provide unlimited support for our users. We consider this to be a fantastic opportunity for our regional areas because this has never been available before unless an individual wanted to pay for it at the $90/hr mark. We are certainly proud of the way KIS has advanced and in the level of service it now offers. We will be looking in the near future to have our service assessed for its level of quality offered in all facets of our operations. KIS is certainly learning every day and now confidently feels that we are an ISP equivalent to (if not better than!) any other ISP available in the south west.
