Commercial Internet Exchange (South Australia) The Commercial Internet Exchange (cix.net.au) is a service provided to participating members of the South Australian ISP industry. It provides reciprocal data exchange between member networks, to improve the performance and access economics of intra-state traffic. CIX is operated by Internode Professional Access, who provide and maintain the router mesh and link core of CIX. Members of CIX interconnect via high speed circuits from a router on their site, into a CIX router, speaking the BGP protocol for routing information exchange.
