Dialing Settings for Your Location
If you have Call Waiting, you should turn it off before you connect. You cannot use the section below to turn off call waiting on the Australian phone system! To turn off Call Waiting on a Telstra phone, lift the receiver, dial #43# and then hang up. When you have finished your Internet session you can turn Call Waiting back on by lifting the receiver, dialing *43# and hanging up.
Getting an outside line
If you are connecting from a building with an internal phone network--such as from an office or a hotel--you need to access an outside line before you can connect.
