Description:

The AT&T Plan 9 shell ported to Unix. This shell features a minimal, and very easy to understand syntax. Conditional and loop structures are even more like C than csh's, and quoting has been simplified. A *must* for minimalists and featurism haters. I (CB) have added several optional builtins that seem popular in other shells, and a few that are specifically useful for rc's syntax. The author is *not* responsible nor would he likely endorse them. Linux, gcc, optionally GNU Readline or Ile libc4.5.21 or better, readline 2.0 or better
