Xdrop

Version:
2.0
Description:
An Open Look tool that let's you launch other apps by drag/drop or by select/paste actions. It can run arbitrary shell commands that can make use of filenames or text in their arguments. Package includes 4 examples illustrating starting xterms, editing files, looking up man pages and chekcing spelling. This was developed under Linux but works on Suns (and others) too. Drag and drop works with OpenWindows 3 apps - sadly Linux only has cmdtool. Select and paste works with most X apps. It is Open Look so it's future is uncertain:(
