Tab Panel - Tree Style Component
The Tree Style page of the Commander is used to set the appearance of the Tree part of the applet.  

Options on this page relate to ALL of the nodes, rather than just the selected node.

Tree background images
Allows a Background Image to be set for the Tree section of the applet.

Tip 
To make the Tree background appear transparent, simply set the background the same as that used on the HTML page itself.

Font and size
Select the tree font style and size.

Tip
Tip 
There are a limited list of fonts which are compatible with Java.
Auscomp recommends using any of the following:
- Dialog, Courier, Helvetica, Symbol or TimesNewRoman

Double-click expand
The Tree can expand on a Double or Single Click selection.

 

Show tooltip
If the Tree node text is too wide for the frame, the specified Tree node text can be shown as a tooltip instead when selected. (Note: The tooltip will display up to two lines).

Show border
The Tree Frame border may be shown as either "On" or "Off".

Start expanded
The selected Tree may be shown expanded upon start up.

Colors
Use the Set Color button to select the colors for the Trees.

1st JAVA Navigator - Commander - Tab Panel - Tree Style - Setting Tree colors (Text, Background, Mouse-over, Tooltip Toggle, Leaf, Line and Frame etc)

Color selection box
This selection box will then appear.

Simply choose one of the items (Text, Background, Mouse-over, Tooltip Toggle, Leaf, Line and Frame etc) to be altered.

A color palette will then open from where the color may be selected.

The "Open Color, Closed Color, Leaf Color, Line Color, Tree Branch Color, Mouse-over Color Selected Branch Color Frame/Line Color and Tooltip Color" display boxes will then change colors accordingly to reflect the various choices made.


Symbols

These buttons are used to choose which toggle symbols are displayed. 
If no toggle button style is chosen (ie: no button is selected), no toggle symbols will be displayed when the applet runs.

This Leaf Symbol button is selected when the leaf symbol is required. 
If not selected, then the symbol will not be applied.

Tip
This setting is especially useful when no icons are used (which markedly speeds up the loading time of the applet).

These buttons are used to choose which line style will be used.
Choose from solid lines or dotted lines. 
If no style is selected then no lines will be displayed.

1st JAVA Navigator - Commander - Tab Panel - Tree Style - Setting Tree Mouse-over Symbols (box or underline) Setting mouse-over style
These buttons select a Mouse-over style. 
If no style is selected, the Mouse-over color will still be used.

Tip 
To disable the Mouse-over color, set the Mouse-over color and save it as the node text color.

1st JAVA Navigator - Commander - Tab Panel - Tree Style - Setting Icons 'On' or 'Off' Setting icons
This button enables or disables the icons.
If this button is selected then the icons which are set on the Tree Component page will be displayed.

1st JAVA Navigator - Commander - Tab Panel - Tree Style - Resetting Tree Defaults Re-setting defaults
This button resets all of the parameters set on the Tree Style page of the Commander.
