FunScroll - Known Bugs (and limitations)

  • Text loaded from a file (using the "lineData" parameter) doesn't work with Netscape 4.0.1 on Windows95 (when using a relative URL). As work-a-round use a fully qualified URL.
    • The background text (bgText tag) can only consist of one line
  • The "fade" feature is slow and uses a lot of memory.
  • The syntax for tags are relly a mess, but I have no current plan to change this (I want to be backwards compatable).
  • There should be parameters to control the shadow, emboss and engrave tags.
  • The CGI-related stuff could be improved...
  • Documentation on tags in general could be improved...
