Detect deadlocks, stalls and race conditions with JProbe Threadalyzer
For developers working on multi-threaded applications, it is critical to ensure that different threads
synchronize properly and cooperate to perform the desired task. Because of the performance and
scalability benefits that threads offer, threads are especially critical in server-side Java
applications. JProbe Threadalyzer monitors thread interactions and warns the user when those
interactions represent a danger. JProbe Threadalyzer is a powerful thread analysis tool that
identifies potentially hazardous race conditions, deadlocks and stalls in Java applications.

JProbe Threadalyzer Developer and ServerSide Editions
JProbe Threadalyzer is now available in two editions: a Developer Edition and a ServerSide
Edition. The Developer Edition is designed for use with stand-alone and client-centered Java development projects. The ServerSide Edition of JProbe Threadalyzer is designed to work with server-based applications, addressing the critical need for thread analysis in server-side development environments.
Server-side Java demands high performance and reliable code. When a server is providing output to
thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of users, it cannot afford to run into threading problems. The ServerSide Edition of JProbe Threadalyzer provides powerful servlet and server-side application tuning capabilities as well as comprehensive and convenient integration with popular Web and application servers.
The ServerSide Edition provides all the features of the Developer Edition plus:
- Solaris support
- Server Launch Pad
- Remote and non-interactive use
- Works with servlets
- Command-line use.
