ACME Ltd produces industrial electrical products. Its salesforce works out of a number of local offices but spends most of its time on the road visiting customers. To help them ACME provides information on its products, competitors, customers, and the market in electronic form. This includes key colateral such as sales presentations that can be given at customer sites. ACME currently relies on a variety of ad-hoc methods to keep the salesforce up to date with the latest presentations and other information. Unfortunately ad-hoc methods can lead to ad-hoc results and a number of critical problems have become apparent. Now ACME has learnt of a solution in SoftCD.
