Determining how updates will be distributed:
SoftCD supports distribution of updates by a variety of means. In this case the publisher wants his users to be able to receive updates from either ACME's Intranet server, or their external Internet web server when not in the office. Because access to the Intranet server is faster when users are in the office this is chosen as the primary server so that SoftCD Client uses it preferentially when it is available.
