Timesheet Table
The alternative method of entering timesheet information is the Timesheet Table. The
Timesheet table offers the same functionality as the Timesheet Grid with a few extra
facilities - these include:
- Allowing you to select whatever date range you require - for example a single day, a
whole month or whatever you require. This means it is a useful tool for bulk data entry or
for providing an overview of more information.
- Providing a summary of the total time logged as well as the total cost and total charge
for all the timesheet entries being displayed.
- Allowing users with the appropriate access rights to approve timesheet entries
Now we know some of the differences between the two views, let's have a look at how the
Timesheet table works. To select the Timesheet Table:
Either,
- Click the Timesheet Table icon on the Timesheet Expert Web Desktop
Or
- Type the URL of the Timesheet Table in the Address box of your browser.
The table looks very similar to a spreadsheet with a row of columns each with a heading
telling you what information is being displayed.
