Maintaining Expenses

In addition to recording time and its associated costs and charges, Timesheet Expert Web can also track expenses. Expenses can cover a wide variety of costs - accommodation, entertainment, mileage, printing/photocopying and so on - some of which may be chargeable to clients.

This Chapter describes how to log expenses incurred against projects and how to specify whether they are chargeable to a client.

Depending on the access privileges that have been defined for you, you may not have access to some or all of the features described in this Chapter - you should contact your Timesheet Supervisor for details.

Much of the work tracked by Timesheet will be chargeable to a client. Chargeable work will often incur expenses and these need to be tracked and invoiced in the same way as timesheet entries.
