If the time spent on an activity (or project) is less than a full hour, it can be entered as a fraction with relevant charges and costs being calculated accordingly. For example 45 minutes would be entered as .75 of an hour. It is possible to log more than 24 hours per day. Similarly, if your Supervisor has changed your Unit of Time Screen label to Days, you can enter time as a fraction of the day and log more than 1 day per entry. This is particularly useful if you maintain a single timesheet for more than one resource or if your company procedure does not require time recording on a daily basis - possibly weekly or monthly instead.
