GPSS

Accompanying our GPS feature this month, and the rapid fall of prices in the GPS Reciever market, we have some GPS software on the CD for you this month. GPSS is created by Robin Lovelock of GPSS Sunninghill. The software is designed to be run on a laptop computer with a portable GPS reciever while you are out on the road. State you destination (yes, if you have access to voice recognition software you can use it with this software) and with the power of GPS, the software will guide you to your destination.

If you don't have a GPS reciever connected to your machine, the program will revert to a demo mode to show you just what is possible with it.

The software does need registering, goto the GPSS website to do this. Once you've installed the software, there is a comprehensive manual in BOOK.TXT to guide you though its use and key presses. If thats not enough, the website contains lots of infomation on the software and recievers.
