   Button up - it's
cold out
eeping the size
of web page down is a fine art. You want to make
the page look great, but you don't want hundreds of large
graphics. The answer is to try and re-use as many as you
can.
One of
the basic points of this month's tutorial is to show you
some of the ways that you can achieve this. The buttons
on the left all use the same graphics - button.gif - and
lay text over the graphic in the HTML.
The
button is an easy graphic to create and can be done
quickly in a program like Paint Shop Pro. Here on the SuperCD
we've got a quick Screencam tutorial to show you how to
create the graphic.
