Amidiag
AMIDiag 5.42 provides complete hardware diagnostics for today's technology, including Pentium« II and Deschutes processors, DVD devices, LS-120 drives, 9+GB hard drives, USB, and AGP video. In addition to expanded test capabilities, the menu driven user interface has been improved to provide more efficient navigation and test operation. These improvements in testing capabilities and user interfaces strengthen the power of AMIDiag by keeping pace with new technology, while retaining testing capability with legacy hardware.

Installation
Copy the amidiag folder from X:\full\amidiag (where X is the letter of your CD ROM drive) across to your c:\ drive using Windows Explorer. In the c:\amidiag directory, run install.exe, which will create a new directory on your hard drive at c:\diag\amidiag.
AMIDiag must be run in DOS mode. To do this, restart your PC and when you see the message 'Starting Windows 95/8' press the F8 key. You will then see a menu system - choose 'Command prompt only'. Type CD c:\diag\amidaig and press return. Type amidiag.exe and press return to run the program. Please note that you cannot run AMIDiag with Emm386.exe loaded. If you do so you will get an error message saying you are in protected mode. You do need Himem.sys loaded.
