XCopilot in action XCopilot is an emulator for the 3Com/USRobotics Pilot/PalmPilot/PalmIII that runs on Unix systems Under X11.

The XCopilot sources are kept in a CVS repository which is set up for anonymous read-only access.

Get the source code for xcopilot-0.6.6.

Get a pre-built binary for Linux/Intel.

Get a Debian binary package for Linux/Intel.

An RPM for Linux/Intel and an SRPM of v0.6.2 have been made available by Donnie Barnes at Red Hat.

You can get a debug ROM from 3Com to test an application against different versions of the PalmOS. The debug ROM now works with XCopilot.

To build XCopilot you will need a version >= 3.4i of the Xpm library, which can be found at ftp.x.org.

XCopilot is a Unix/X11 port of the copilot emulator, which was originally written for Windows95. Greg Hewgill wrote copilot. Ivan A. Curtis created XCopilot.
