Configuration Wizard
Before we can start to optimize your modem, some information is required
about your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Dial-Up Profile
This is the dial-up profile you want to use to optimize
you modem. If there is no dial-up profile in your system, then "Please select your dial-up profile:"
will show the message "No dial-up profile available ". In this case, you will need to create a dial-up
profile.
To create your dial-up profile:
For Windows 95/98
Click on "My Computer" folder -> "Dial-Up
Networking" folder->"Make New Connection" icon.
For Windows NT 4.0 and above users
Click on "My Computer" folder -> "Dial-Up
Networking" icon -> "New...." Button
Login
Enter your login user ID for the selected dial-up profile.
Password
Enter your password associated with your user ID.
Redial
Enter the number of times you want to try re-connecting to your ISP
when dialing fails. The default value is set to 5 times.
Web Address Configuration
Enter your Internet Service Provider's website address in the text
box provided. Ensure that the address entered is valid, as it
will be used for optimizing your modem settings.
For example, if you are using MSN as your ISP, use http://www.msn.com
or if it is NetZero, use http://www.netzero.net
. (We're not promoting these ISPs but just using them as examples.)
