Concert Percussion — Blending Tradition with Technology

Whether it’s a percussion instrument for the concert hall, an outdoor front ensemble, band room or worship center, Yamaha instruments feature the superior Yamaha sound as well as practical features. It’s a perfect blend of tradition and technology. Manufactured using the latest techniques, many exclusive to Yamaha, our concert percussion is unrivaled in beauty, both aurally and visually.

For more than three decades Yamaha has been working with some of the world’s finest players designing and crafting the instruments of their dreams. Yamaha has also developed instruments and frames specifically designed for the rigors of educational use. While the sound, above all, is the priority for any musician, the practical design and affordability of our concert percussion instruments is also very important.

Student Percussion — Back to Basics: Education

With a focus on music education, Yamaha strives to provide beginning percussionists with instruments that will inspire creative music making. That is why instruments with a quality sound and practical features, at an affordable price, are key elements of the Yamaha student percussion series.

Stadium Hardware

Since Yamaha already makes the best instruments money can buy, it's only logical to get the best performance out of them. That's the idea behind Stadium Hardware™ by May, an instrument suspension system that will save wear and tear on your marching percussion...and the marching percussionist. A unique tripod system allows one of the legs to adjust independently of the other two. This ensures stable support of the instruments, even when used in bleachers. With Stadium Hardware, your drumline will literally elevate to a higher level of sound and visual performance. Please see the Stadium Hardware brochure for more information.
