To generate a RankCheck Report, simply click on the "Report" button at the top of
AddWeb 4's display. Platinum, Pro and Enterprise versions of AddWeb 4 can generate RankCheck Reports automatically.
Ranking Reports
One aspect of managing your website promotion is to make sure that your website gets to the top of the list, using the Search Engine Positioning advice Page Advisor's report gives you. It is however, just as important to maintain that position over time. RankCheck reports, used with the RankCheck feature allows you to see your website's position over time on several major search engines at once. The reports will show you in graphs and charts as well as text, the ranking trends for your site.
You can also view in RankCheck reports, something called "Link Count." Link Count can affect your positioning on some engines and you can use RankCheck to display you link counts on supported engines. Usually the higher the link count to you, the better. If a particular search engine you submit to is appearing as an engine where you are not indexed, check to see that you have filled in all of the information fields in the "Profile" areas of AddWeb 4. In certain engines, AddWeb 4 must use "Unique Text" to find your website's ranking. If the Unique Text area in Profiles is blank, RankCheck may not be able to find you.
