This has the distinction of being one of the largest books on Marilyn Monroe. Bert Stern's The Complete Last Sitting may be heavier, but this one is probably the tallest. Happily, it has much more to recommend it than that: it is elegantly laid-out, contains a nice selection of photographs, and has a sprinkling of assorted Marilyn memorabilia pictured throughout. The quality of writing is high, to boot.
