This book is actually a story of Marilyn's life told through comic-book style illlustrations. The author says that she based most of the story on facts gleaned from well-known MM biographies (such as Fred Lawrence Guiles'), but then also filled-in the blanks here and there using her own imagination. I haven't had time to read it yet so I don't have much to add beyond that…
