Cover Art By: Nancy MacGregor.

This serie-noir classic by Jim Thompson was originally published long ago (in the 40's or 50's?). The cover art on this modern edition is based on a well-known Fox publicity shot of Marilyn, circa 1953-54.

This is another pulp classic from Jim Thompson. The cover art is based on a still from How to Marry a Millionaire - Marilyn is on the left, Betty Grable is on the right, and the middle figure (which is Lauren Bacall in the original) has been replaced with an Ernest Borgnine-based sheriff.

Burke
Three Day Pass - To Kill by James Wakefield Burke.
Publication: World Wide Productions. 1954. USA.
ISBN: --
Details: Hardback. 263 pages.
Cover Design By: Ole Jensen.

The artwork on this 1950's thriller is based on the famous publicity photo of Marilyn in her gold "Photoplay Awards dress." A few liberties have been taken with the dress, but the provenance is still clear.
