Then there is the calendar (pictured), her second. Both are swimsuit calendars, and she's proud of both. This one was shot in Mexico because she loves the country and the beaches there. "They are so beautiful," she says as if her imagination is wisking he r back there as we speak. She and those beaches are very beautiful together and are well worth the $12.99 price.

As our time together ends, we come away very impressed. There's a lot to Daniela Pestova; a lot more than the eye can ponder. Some day she may well be at the U.N., but, we are certain, as something much more than a translator. This supermodel is plenty s mart and would make an excellent diplomat. But for now, magazine covers, designers and calendars are her professional world, and her work there makes our world a lot better.
