From the many in line, 25 were chosen to walk the catwalk. They were quickly dressed in Lee Jeans and Keds sneakers. Elite, Lee, Keds, "Top Model" magazine and Fashion Cafe were among the event's sponsors.
As seen at right, Roshumba (on the right in the photo) and Brenda Schad were co-hosts for the evening. Roshumba is one of SUPERMODEL.COM's featured models and Brenda appeared prominently in our Supermodels in the Rainforest Section. They had busily rewritten the script between hasty TV interviews and photo ops. They were joined shortly before the show by Victoria's Secret model Tricia Helfer, who came to watch the contest.
As the affair finally got under way, Roshumba and Brenda stepped onto the catwalk and made the introductions.
