Sixy Awards

The "New York Post" (January 1, 1997) has revealed the winners of its first special Sixy Awards for 1996. These awards are presented to celebrities who in this past year managed to distinguish themselves in certain situations that were sometimes embarass ing to themselves and fodder for the gossip columns! Some of the awards went out to models, specifically: Six Too Many Times Award for the press mentions far beyond their celebrity worth goes to Bijou Phillips; Sixth Round Award for taki ng punishment in the celebrity ring goes to Angie Everhart who was decked by former Penthouse Pet Shauna O'Brien, braved acting lessons from Mickey Rourke, crashedher a porshe, and last married Ashley Hamilton; Page Eigh t Award (for doing the right thing in the wrong place) to Marla Maples who used the hot air hand-dryers in the ladies' room during the Emmy Awards in a different way. Marla who was freezing successfully used the dryer to heat her upper torso which revealed how cold she really was in her slinky dress! Lastly was the Six, Six Six, Damien Award -- Honorable Mention which went to MTV "House of Style" 's Amber Valletta and Shalom Harlow who whined incessantly about menus, acco mmodations, shoe samples and even the lack of toliet paper on their location shoots.
