Cut and Paste Supermodels
The "Daily News" reports that artist Ronnie Cutrone has developed a new art technique supermodel images. He takes existing photographs of the models (with permission of the photographers), cuts up the shots, adds colors and graphics and prints
the images on huge canvases. He has done his cut-and-paste technique with Elle Macpherson, Cindy Crawford and Claudia Schiffer. The next runners up are Naomi, Kate Moss, Marla Hanson and Iman, all of whom
will be included in Cutrone's collection of beauty. From what we're told, Cindy is wrapped in an American flag, Elle looks like a paper-doll cutout with rainbow swirls, and Claudia is a sea-nymph with no arms, plunging out of the water! This should be qui
te a sight to see and it just so happens Cutrone's artwork will be at the Art Expo beginning February 6, 1997.
