![]() The New Cosmo Is Hot and SexyHelen Gurly Brown has finally turned over the reins of her beloved "Cosmopolitan" to Bonnie Fuller, and the changing of the guard is very apparent. Not that the magazine was ever devoid of references to sex, but the March issue offers featur e articles about sex, departments about sex and interviews about, well. . . sex. On the cover is a sexy yet strangely innocent shot of Laetitia Casta, whom we brought to you from the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and who is making a real name for herself as an explosive relative newcomer. She also has a one-page mix of mini-articles comprising "Laetitia's Look," "Cover Girl Makeup Tips," and "Q&A with a goddess." While Laetitia alone is worth the buy, other articles that should propel you to the newsstand include: David Duchovny Undresses for Us (and Talks); Your New Man: How to Make the Sex So Good He'll Be Groveling; Gyno Anxieties That Make You Crazy -- Solved! (We told you there was alot of sex.) On the milder side, for the fashion conscious there is an article about Donatella Versace and First Ever Spring Fashion & Beauty Spectacular: 135 New Looks. |
Be Careful What You Pray for. . .You Just Might Get ItFor the longest time the celebrity world followed the on-again, off-again engagement of supermodel Angie Everhart and some-time actor Ashley Hamilton, son of for-real actor George Hamilton. Angie displayed what we felt was remarkable patience, as Ashley tap danced enldessly around true commitment. She obviously wanted very badly to become Mrs. Hamilton. The two finally did wed a few months back, but apparently, all is not happily-ever-after. A number of reports have placed Ashley and some very pretty ladies in places Angie wasn't. While spokespersons for the pair aren't saying anything, we do hope that Angie doesn't regret getting what she prayed for. |
To Those Who Have, More Will Be GivenWhether it's residue from her father's Midas touch or not, Ivanka Trump (pictured at right) is making out big time in the modeling world. She's got the plumb job in a $5 million campaign that's due to debut this spring in fashion magazines. She wil l be the modeling wunderkind for Sasson. Not bad for a 15-year-old. But how much did being the progeny of zillionaire Donald and the fashionable Ivana have to do with her being selected? Nothing at all, swears Sasson president Linda Elto n. "We wanted someone young, hip, independent yet innocent," Elton, told the "New York Post." "Ivanka represents an icon of style that has unlimited possibilities. She can go anywhere, be anything." Let's hope they didn't make her "be anything" like w hat she was at the Ev&El show during fashion week. The wig they put on her made her look like they'd pasted a dead badger to her head. |
