Metropolitan Museum's Gala
- The "New York Post" (December 11, 1996) reports that Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute gala entertained numerous guests, the hottest of whom was Princess Di. She caught the attention of everyone with the gown she was wearing, designed by
John Galliano. Observers say it made her look "curvier" than usual! Other guests were designers Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Christian LaCroix and Michael Kors. Supermodels Christy Turlington, Amber Valletta
and Elaine Irwin also were present.
