"George" Double Take
- The "New York Post" (December 7, 1996) reports that supermodel Claudia Schiffer will be gracing the January cover of "George." Magazine editor John F. Kennedy, Jr. decided to go double-cover technique, the latest marketing method, to pro
mote the January issue theme, which is, "The Year in Politics." Seventy-five percent of the covers will have Schiffer wearing just a "Clinton-Gore" ribbon with a suductive smile. The second cover shot is a sad face Schiffer in a black turtleneck and a "D

- The "New York Post" (December 8, 1996) reports that IMG model China Chow is climbing up the ladder. Chow was named "It Girl" in the December "Harper's Bazaar" along with Drew Barrymore and Gwyneth Paltrow. She's also featured in t
his month's issue of "Vogue" and was recently photographed for the new DKNY campaign and a Gap ad. China's next project, a book with make-up artist Francois Nars,will be put on hold till she graduates from college.
