Dukes Up Over Niki

The "Daily News" (December 24, 1996) reported that last weekend at the Bar None, located at South Beach, FL, a good old-fashioned fistfight broke out. The antagonists were Chris Paciello, owner of the Liquid Bar and recent Niki Taylor bo yfriend, and Niki's ex-husband Matt Martinez. Martinez and a 6'6", 280-pound friend allegedly waited for the bouncer of the Bar None to go to the bathroom and then attacked Paciello. After a considerable exchange of blows, Bar None's owner was able to separate all concerned. But with the town being as small as it is, how long will it be before they cross paths again?

Santa's Wish List

The "Daily News" (December 24, 1996) reported that David Copperfield is hoping that supermodel Claudia Schiffer, his long time girlfriend, will come through with his Santa wish list item. Copperfield has been eyeing a rare 1870 manuscrip t of medieval magic from Bohemia. Can you imagine what new magic he could stir up with that book!
