Naomi Collapses, Flu to Blame"American Journal" reported tonight that Naomi Campbell (pictured) collapsed on a London street today. No cause was immediately known, but Naomi's spokesperson says she's been suffering from the flu.Naomi has been very busy of late. After her appearance at the Victoria's Secret fashion show she went abroad, first to Tokyo, then to Spain, where she threw a huge birthday bash for beau Joaquin Cortes, then on to London. As far as we know, she was not hospitalized and is resting comfortably. We'll fill you in on the details when we know more. We wish her a very speedy recovery. |
Nicole Miller Is Turning BlueWe've learned that fashion designer Nicole Miller has designed a line of clothing (actually more like accessories when you get right down to it) which is being sold through the New York Police Foundation. If you're one of the city's finest, you can buy a tie for $60.00 or a silk cravat for $85.00. For something a little closer to the skin, boxers can be had for only $55.00. The items, part of a Miller Limited Edition, are being sold, we expect, only to the brass, because only they can afford to buy and wear them. No word yet on whether or not New York's mayor, Rudy Guiliani, the man to whom the NYPD answers, has bought any of Miller's designs. However, he did appear dressed as Marilyn Monroe at the Inner Circle press dinner on Saturda y night. Hizzoner is said to have mimicked the scandalous "Happy Birthday, Mr. President" appearance by Monore at JFK's birthday party in 1963. |
