Calendar for Worthwhile CausesMale supermodel Mark Thompson has been seen on magazine covers, in TV commercials and music videos, and on European runways. He has just expanded his career by putting himself on the other side of the camera. He has released a 1997 calendar called "Unforgettable," and the motivation behind it addresses two worthy causes. First, it's a calendar comprising only women of color. "I created this calendar because I felt there was a void that needed to be filled," Thompson told "Extra." "It is rare to se e a woman of color as a pin-up. My intent is to change all that." Second, some of the proceeds from the sale of the calendar will go to the Minority AIDS Project of Los Angeles. Among those appearing in the calendar are: actress Jasmine Guy, model Tracy Hudson, actress, Tonya Lee Williams, songwriter Tyler Collins, and model Phina.
