There was much fanfare this holiday season when Swatch, the Swiss watch company opened its shiny new store in midtown Manhattan. To commemorate the opening and to celebrate the company's 64 years of existence, Swatch asked supermodel Tyra Banks and Olympic champion (and "the world's fastest man") Michael Johnson to appear at the unveiling.

The party began well before the arrival of the two celebrities. Supermodel Catherine Mogull was present, as was Angelika, the Russian modeling phenom. Swatch very cleverly made the theme of the event multifaceted. Different time motifs, many Olympics oriented, appeared throughout the three floors comprising the new shop. (More.)
