Cindy Crawford recently found herself recuperating from the effects of an unnamed parasitic beastie she picked up on a trip to Africa. The resulting hospital stay enabled her to work with long-time buddy Sonia Kashuk to write "Cindy Crawford's Basic Face, " a makeup workbook. Sonia, who smuggled real-world food to Cindy while the megamodel was in the hospital, played a major role in sculpting the book's content. She knows whereof she speaks as a recognized makeup artist. The book is written not just for th ose who want to be models, but also for those who just want to learn how to put on makup correctly.
