HMG® Graphite Salmon & Steelhead Rods The HMG rod blank utilizes 90-degree Layered Construction and features proven actions that are fine-tuned for the most knowledgeable and experienced salmon/steelheader. It gives the fisherman the power, distance, and fish-playing ability for which Fenwick's graphite materials and designs are justly famous. Guides are polished stainless steel with aluminum-oxide inner rings. Grips are extended-length warm-to-the-touch cork. Graphite fibers run the full length of the rod, butt to tip, providing exceptional sensitivity. These are amazingly responsive salmon/steelhead rods, with fine-tuned actions and fast tapers. Rear and foregrips are extra-smooth Portuguese cork.
