I have seen ample evidence of the fact that todays outdoorsman has just as
much sportsmanship as ever. Ethics towrds the pursuit of game is always a
contentious point and can change from person to person, however I believe
there are as many folks who hunt for the comaraderie as ever. The severity of
transgressions seems to be on the increase, in that bearing folks up (or even
shooting at them) for trespassing never seemed to occur before. I don't
think that unsporting practices are any more prevelent now though. It does
seem to me that we as a group tend to condemn others for ethics a lot more
now than before though. We have trouble discerning between the "ethics" of
pursuit and the "sportsmanship" that we show others. Ther is a real difference.
