Daiwa Introduces New Left-Hand Retrieve Reel For Right-Handed Anglers
The new Daiwa TD-X-L baitcasters is the world's first left-hand retrieve reel designed for the right-handed angler.
The clutch is positioned on the top left of the reel, allowing you to thumb the spool more easily. The crank is moved farther back toward the center of your palm, eliminating the awkwardness common in other left-hand retrieve reels.
The TD-X-L and its right-hand counterpart, the TD-X share a number of high-end features. The Super Speed Shaft design provides the ultimate free spool because the spool shaft completely disengages from the pinion gear. When disengaged, the spool shaft spins freely on ball bearings that are blueprinted and milled to zero tolerance for optimum performance and durability. The Dura-Loc pinion system features a retractable pinion that, when engaged, is in a fail-safe, locked-in position to eliminate any chance of slippage.
