The biggest fish I ever caught was a 36 lbs Chinook, in Lake Michigan just outside of Charlevoix, MI. There used to be a huge hydroelectric plant (called Medusa) that was a major attractant. We must have trolled for 10 hours before my rod nearly broke in half...it took me 30 minutes to land the fish and half that time to eat it!!
